New Year, New addition to our Family

Happy New  Year, YTJ readers!
It was a crazy holiday season at the Greenleaf-Perez little home, and today we said "see you soon" to Lane's parents who visited for Lane's 24th birthday. Although our "vacation" time felt more busier than when we actually are working, it was still a sweet time with our family. It was our first Christmas and New Years as Mr. & Mrs. and I wouldn't have had it any other way.

But this post is dedicated to introducing our sweet little puppy son, Watson Koa Greenleaf-Perez. With this new year, we also took on a new responsibility of being puppy parents. Yes, we now attend to him hourly to take him to the bathroom, feed him, and soothe him back to sleep.

We bought Watson a month ago when he was six weeks old. He was so tiny, I brought him every where while he slept in my purse. Now, he's nine weeks old and is house trained, content when Lane and I leave for work in the morning, and can sleep longer through the night. We're such proud puppy parents.

The first 12 days of 2015 have been great so far, a little tiring, but fun! I'm excited for more fun and more tiring because that means I'm breathing and alive.

Here's some photos of our sweet puppy, Watson. He's the cutest white and red piebald miniature dachshund in all the land. He's a little odd looking with a white patch on his nose, white whiskers on the left and black whiskers on the right of his face. But we love him so, so much.

Yours truly,
Jayna
