It's Friday, I'm in Love

It's Friday, and I'm in love with: LANE, LIFE, MY FAMILY, MY COMMUNITY, & MY GOD.

1 // MUSIC // Pandora has been so good to me on my drives to work. The song came up while listening to the "Sleeping At Last" station while stuck in I-5 traffic. This song reminded me of past love that I'm so glad didn't work out. Because then I would've never met the love of my life and said yes to Lane.  Yeah, I know. Isn't it crazy how music just knows...

2 // BEAUTY // Bleubird recently showed off her new locks on her blog. And I'm totally diggin' the lighter shade of brunette with the gold highlights. And the length and layers are just right! I love that medium length hair is a popular one now-a-days. BUT! I'm trying really hard to resist the urge of cutting my hair since I'm trying to grow it out for our wedding. It's just hard with this cute Momma of four kids and her sick style- definitely has me thinking twice!

3 // HOME // I'm assuming that mine and Lane's first newlywed home probably won't be a home-home, and it'll probably be a rented townhouse, where we won't be able to paint our walls or drill any holes. So thinking in advance, I started searching for cute ideas to add some color to bare white walls without damaging our rented space. And of course, A Beautiful Mess wins again!  This photo is of Elsie's hallway leading into their master bedroom. The many colors on their wall IS NOT PAINT - but! WASHI TAPE (a girl's best friend)! Just recently, I've seen so many colors and designs of washi tapes produced. So I'll definitely have this project on our to-do list for colorful home ideas!

4 // FASHION // SoCal has been pretty chilly lately- we even got some rain! So I found this heavy duty jacket on sheinside.com! I love the standard army green anorak, but this one is special because it's pretty in pink! It's a girly piece girly, yet very practical. I think a statement pink jacket is a fun outerwear choice especially for this transition from Winter to Spring.
