"A self-portrait once a week, every week in 2014." // Water colors and my love.

Hi Readers,

It's been a successful week for Lane and I! We bought his suit for the wedding, his groomsmen's suits, and my wedding shoes! We went to Santee Alley to find the best deals for everything! Yeah, I know that my shoes are no Steve Madden, but they are just darling and are a perfect match to one specific wedding color! Ahem, gold glitter. Anyway, It was a great time hanging out with Lane's parents and it was a plus having one of his best men there. It helped Lane keep a steady head over all the hustle and bustle of Downtown LA.

Another huge thing checked off the wedding to-do list is: WE REGISTERED! It took us 6 hours to get through Target, Bed, Bath, and Beyond, and IKEA. So as all of you know, we are moving to Portland right after the wedding, and ironically, the ONLY IKEA that does wedding registry is Portland's! It works with our guest buying our gifts online, then Lane and I redeeming them at the IKEA Portland facility. That's way easier than hauling big furniture from Southern California and driving it up to Portland. (For our guests, here's a link to our wedding website: www.laneandjaywedding.com)

All in a day's work, I say.

The Walking Dead is back on! I'm so happy to say that my Sunday nights are back to normal again. I'm not going to turn this blog into a Talking Dead episode. But I will say that watching the Walking Dead has given me a fun excuse to lunge onto Lane and squeeze him when scary parts happen in the show.

Thanks for stopping by! And if you're wondering how I got those cool water color paintings- well they're actually pictures that I took that were turned into paintings via the Waterlogue app! I'm so obsessed with it. I love water color paintings and even better when my pictures are the ones being transformed! I might frame some of them soon!
