It's Friday, and I'm in love! And what? A new series on YTJ?! You got that right! Every Friday, I'll be posting 5 things I love! Hence, the series name. Let's get started...

1 // MUSIC // Can't stop listening to this song. I love covers of old 90's hits done by a cool hipster boy band that uses mirrachas as their rhythm section. Like, c'mon! Take a listen, my friends. It's as mellow as a Friday night and Christmas lights still hanging up in your bedroom.

 

2 // BEAUTY // I'm a bride-to-be! So I've been pinning hairstyles I want to do for the wedding. And I think we've found a winner. When I ask for a messy up-do, I mean it when I say messy. (photo credit)  

3 // FASHION // J.CREW SPRING 2014. Stop with that skirt! (But don't really. Apparently "STOP" is the new "SHUT UP!") I love bottoms with bold patterns. The cobalt blue skirt with that white aztec oval pattern, and that stripe top (my favorite kind of top to ever wear, like ever!) is seriously the perfect day to night outfit. J.Crew always has the best Spring and Summer outfits. 

4 // HOME // Abeautifulmess.com literally posted this tutorial this afternoon. I'm obsessed with the concrete counter-top in the kitchen. I hope when I own my home someday, I could try this look out. I actually enjoy the contrast between the dark grey countertops and the yellow cabinets. Let's just hope Lane would even let me paint anything in our house yellow. Probably not. Oh well, I just can't wait to have our own home together! Woo-hoo! 113 days left, you guys!
