"A self-portrait once a week, every week in 2014." // The trusty iPhone self-portrait. Not, #selfie.

Hi YTJ family,

I don't like receiving apologies over the internet, nor do I like giving them, and especially if I have to apologize for something I actually manage...But!! I'm sorry that all of my recent posts have been limited to the 52-week project. Hey! At least I've been consistent. Right?

Last week and weekend were a blur. On Sunday, I was a second shooter with Steve Cowell for a wedding. I'm still feeling the photographer hangover. But I'm so excited to share those photos with you! It was a lot of fun and not as stressful as I imagined. Shooting a wedding is really different from a portrait photo shoot because it requires a lot of concentration- every moment only happens once, and it is the photographer's job to capture it for the bride and groom. Talk about pressure... Unlike a photo shoot, I can tell the model to keep the same pose and stay that way until I get the perfect shot. But it's all in a day's work, and I looove my (second) job.

So, days are getting a lot longer now that our wedding is coming up soon. But surprisingly, there's still more planning to be done! As of today, there are 115 days left! Woo-hoo!

To end this, I promise to spice up YTJ's blog soon. So keep stopping by, because I always keep my promises.
