LA, all day!

Dear Blog fam,

Thank you kindly for being so patient with me. Having a full-time job keeps me on my toes. Everyday is definitely different in the office, meaning everyday I'm coming home wanting to sleep. So, I'm glad to say, TGIF! And hello, free time/blog time!

This past weekend was quite eventful. It was my sister's 25th birthday! She's actually not that excited about it because she thinks it's "too old" to be yelling out in public. But honestly, I think 25 is the prime age of adulthood. It's not too old, and it's not too young.

But, I'm just happy I was able to celebrate it with her. These days, she's hanging out with her new boy, I hardly ever get to keep her to myself. I'm happy for her. She deserves someone who will stay when crap hits the fan. Props to you, Karloxo!

LA holds a special place in my heart. Besides the traffic, I love that city. For Jayanne's birthday we celebrated in DTLA - Little Tokyo. We went to an event at the Rif.LA shop that was hosting Dom Kennedy, where we got a picture with him! I'm obsessed with his Watermelon Sundae song. Take a listen!

The next day, our original plan was to hike Runyon Canyon but instead we found ourselves wandering around Santee Alley.

On Jayanne's actual birthday, we celebrated her birth at the OC Fair where we saw JBoog perform. It was one of the best nights I've had this Summer. It made me miss home so much!

And because I'm such a visual person, here are A LOT of snapshots of my sister's birthday weekend! Enjoy!!
